Inclusive Leadership Retreat

The Inclusive Leadership Retreat is an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to gain skills in active listening and inclusive language, as well as an understanding of the Sustained Dialogue relationship model and the Dialogue to Action process. Participants will leave certified to moderate Sustained Dialogue circles and one-time dialogue events, as well as many other types of conversations. These skills are transferable to the classroom, club and organization leadership, communicating with supervisors, and navigating job interviews!

The training is FREE and open to Appalachian students, faculty, staff, and administrators. Participants will also receive a certificate!

The 2019 Inclusive Leadership Retreat will be held on Friday, September 13-Sunday, September 15 in the Plemmons Student Union.
